Laminate
There isn’t a more affordable option for your kitchen countertops than laminate. Dollar for dollar, there isn’t a harder working alternative. Laminate is simply the best budget kitchen countertop on the market today. These countertops can take a beating in the kitchen and last a lifetime with very little maintenance. They are hard to scratch, tough to burn, and easy to maintain. That doesn’t mean that you can abuse them, however. They should be protected with a cutting board or trivet, anytime that you are cutting, chopping, or handling hot pots and pans. It may be hard to damage them, but it’s definitely not impossible.
